The Corrugated series is an ongoing exploration using various corrugated products to produce art. I have found different size cardboards to print from. Some of the prints were then projected onto panels and painted with acrylic. Most pieces reveal a harmony in repetitive lines that create common shapes. In the eleven part print entitled BATTLE it was my intent to create an allegorical narrative from shape and line only. This piece should be read from both ends towards the middle.
The small free standing sculptures use the translucence of Corplast to blur the details of the collages beneath. The linear aspect of the Corplast when layered at right angles places a grid over flat color and literal imagery.
